Who
Puppies who are 7 weeks to 1 year old. Young puppies must have had their first set of vaccines at least 10 days prior to the start of class.
When
Time: 5:45 – 6:45pm on Tuesdays
Dates: July 18, 25, Aug 1, 8, 15, 22 – Space Available
Cost: $200 tax included (a $70 deposit is required to hold your spot)
Class will be held all/primarily indoors.
Where
Classes are held at Nova Dogsport in Harriestfield, NS.
Fee
$200 for 6 weeks. A $70 deposit is required to hold your spot in the class.

- Polite Leash Walking
- Go To Bed / Relax quietly

We cover:
- Meeting people calmly
- Meeting other puppies
- Handling (for vet visits, nail trims, brushing, etc.)
- Navigating obstacles, walking on different surfaces, climbing on safe objects.
- Basic commands (sit, down, loose leash walking)
- Recall
Puppy parents learn:
- How to use classical conditioning, desensitization and positive reinforcement
- How to use a clicker
- How to read your dog’s body language
- How to advocate for your dog

I am a certified Puppy Start Right Instructor through the Karen Pryor Academy. I am also an accredited dog trainer through the IAABC. You can learn more about me here.

Need a little extra help?
I also offer private lessons for any puppies and dogs who might need some more one-on-one training. Private lessons are more suitable for dogs with reactivity, or puppies who are showing signs of reactivity.
