Big Stick’s Rally Obedience Classes
We teach Rally Obedience in the style of CARO – The Canadian Association of Rally Obedience. Our classes are specifically designed for you two learn the rules and signs for CARO. However, all of these skills will be useful for other rally obedience trialing associations (such as CKC, AKC, ASCA, etc.) as well, just be mindful that rules may be different for each venue!
Come to class and tighten up your heeling, focus and connection, but most importantly, come have fun!
Lily makes every attempt to make her classes welcoming to sensitive dogs. She does this by ensuring that dogs have space in class, this sometimes includes using x-pens as visual barriers. What makes CARO so great?
The Canadian Association of Rally Obedience is an all-breed inclusive rally obedience trialing association.
CARO allows dogs of any breed to compete in their trials, and is very accommodating to dogs and handlers of different abilities.
CARO allows food rewards in the ring in Rally Novice and Advanced and Working Class. Food rewards are a great way to build ring confidence at competitions.
CARO Excellent and all higher levels have tunnels, weaves, bar jump and broad jumps!
